Roger Ing was a prominent abstract painter and owner of the Utopia Cafe restaurant in Regina, Saskatchewan. Before the closure of the Utopia in 1993, he displayed, sold, and even painted his hundreds of abstract expressionist paintings alongside the customers. Silent film also contains cityscape of Regina including the legislative building, the train station before it became a casino, and empty lots.
